Franklin Fall Festival Block Party
November 13th from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
The Franklin Fall Festival Block Party has been rescheduled for November 13th for everyone to enjoy. You are invited to listen and dance to music from Strictly Business and the Feature Attraction Band while taking in the river views at Barrett’s Landing. Bring the entire family for this fun block party. $5.00 Admission (Kids under 6 are free)
Franklin Fall Festival Street Scene
November 14th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The Franklin Fall Festival Street Scene has been rescheduled for November 14th so come enjoy children’s games and activities, a talent contest, food and refreshments, arts and crafts booths, along with local organization vendors and Downtown Franklin stores. The Franklin Farmer’s Market will be open for shoppers to enjoy. Don’t miss out on Downtown Franklin’s most popular event of the year!
Peanut Patch Open House
November 13th and 14th from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
November 15th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
There will be gourmet food tastings all three days along with specials and discounts! On Saturday there will be a wine tasting from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM along with various vendors. As an added bonus…there will be door prizes daily! And remember peanuts make the perfect gift for those “hard to shop for” family members.
Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo
November 18th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
The Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo will feature a “retail alley” section at the expo this year for those who would like to grab some holiday goodies. Various local vendors will line “retail alley” to show off their products so come out and enjoy this FREE event!
DFA Open House & Carriage Rides

Bring the whole family to experience and enjoy a carriage ride through Downtown Franklin. (Carriage rides are free with participation in the Downtown Franklin Association Open House).

Downtown Franklin Elf Parade and Tree Lighting

Get into the holiday spirit with Downtown Franklin during the Downtown Franklin Elf Parade and Tree Lighting. All elves are invited to come mix and mingle and enjoy a great time of celebrating. A special guest appearance from our Northern friend, Santa Claus will make this family friendly event one you will not want to miss!
Downtown Franklin Christmas Parade
December 4th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Come see the glitter and glitz of the Downtown Franklin Christmas Parade. Enjoy fun floats, antique cars and trucks, firetrucks, local pageant queens, high school bands, music and much more! Be sure to stay until the end to get a glimpse of Santa Claus riding in the parade.
Town of Ivor Christmas Parade and Festivities
December 6th from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Join us for the Ivor Christmas Parade beginning at 3:00 PM and stick around after the parade (at the Ivor Municipal Building 8430 Bell Avenue) for Brunswick Stew and live entertainment beginning at 4:30 PM. Brunswick Stew will be served at 5:00pm and is sponsored by the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary, donations are encouraged! Following dinner will be the lighting of the Cody Stallard Memorial Christmas Tree and carols. If you have any questions, please call 757-859-6397.
Breakfast with Santa at Airfield 4-H Conference Center
December 12th from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Have you dreamed of having breakfast with Santa Claus? Your dreams have become a reality. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, get your picture taken with Santa, meet Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer all at the Airfield 4-H Conference Center. Adult’s admission is $10.50 and children’s (4-8) admission is $6.50 (3 and under eat free). Reservations are not required, but are encouraged.
