Courtland Produce Auction

Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Stop in and pick up produce fresh off the family farm. This produce auction is directed to wholesale buyers but anyone is welcome to attend. If you are an avid canner or like to freeze fresh, local produce this is the event for you. The Courtland Farmers Market does also feature small lots, so come and bid before the fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers are gone. The Courtland Farmers Market opens every Thursday at 6:30pm beginning in June through the first two weeks of October.  Read More

Artisan Market at Gallery 1606

Artisan Markets are on each first Saturday from May through December from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a free venue for artisans to showcase their talents. There are multiple artisans featuring a variety of creations such as silver jewelry, stained glass, oil paintings, fiber and wearable art, wood sculpture and handcrafted furniture, handmade herbal soaps, gourd art, scented candles, quilts, books, photography, crochet and knitted items, pottery, metal art, local seasonal produce, craft demonstrations, Native American food, and other unique items. We are located on the corner of Main Street and Southampton Parkway (Hwy 58) in Capron on the grounds of Gallery 1606 and the Nottoway Indian Tribe of Virginia Community House and Interpretive Center.
